You leave the foil in place for about 2 hours and then remove it. You can now clean the tattoo with &#8220;anti-septic&#8221; soap (excess ink residue and wound fluid will disappear with this). Do not apply regular soap or shampoo to the tattoo.   <\/p>\n<p>Pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel or washcloth. (Do not use cotton wool). <\/p>\n<p>Next, apply a thin layer of &#8220;Bepanthen&#8221; ointment to the tattoo.<\/p>\n<p>You can purchase Bepanthen ointment from our shop (while supplies last).<\/p>\n<p>You keep applying Bepanthen ointment for 4 weeks after getting your tattoo.<\/p>\n<p>1st week apply 4 times a day<\/p>\n<p>2nd week lubricate 3 times a day<\/p>\n<p>3rd week apply 2 times a day<\/p>\n<p>4th week lubricate once a day<\/p>\n<p>Do not wear wool or silk over the tattoo for the first few days.<\/p>\n<p>For the first 2 weeks you should not expose the tattoo to sun, go swimming, soak in the bathtub, sit in the sauna or go to the tanning bed.<\/p>\n<p>The skin may feel a little sore after the tattoo, be red or swollen. This is normal. <\/p>\n<p>You may lose some excess ink, do not be alarmed by this.<\/p>\n<p>After a few days, the tattoo will itch, but don&#8217;t go scratching the scabs off.<\/p>\n<p>The tattoo will be darker at first and just a little lighter after a few days, then a white haze\/skin appears (this is normal).
